Compass Star Couture Opal and Sapphire Pendant in 18 carat Yellow Gold

The magnificent "Queen of Cups" Compass Star pendant set in 18 carat yellow gold. The star of this beauty is a natural Queensland boulder opal with lovely play of colour: blues, greens and a touch of violet. The landscape of this opal looks like viewing the Far North Queensland coast from above. The opal is set in heavy yellow gold and its form is counter-balanced with a sculpted panel of 54 pave 1.25mm Ceylon sapphires creating a wave of sparkle. The Queen is crowned with House of Temperance's signature Compass Star set with a 4.00mm round sapphire from Inverell, NSW, weighing 0.31cts in a four talon-claw setting. The pendant is suspended from a heavy yellow gold cable chain which measures 45cm long. A couture beauty to treasure forever.
